Our new "I Voted" stickers.
The sticker handed out at this year's polling places that say "I voted" depicting a hand drawn image of Nipper the RCA dog with a Karner Blue butterfly on his nose. He is sitting next to a hand drawn depiction of the Empire State Plaza and a row of tulips is in front of them all.

Today's adventure: Lake George fall foliage boat cruise.

Today's adventure: West Mountain Fall festival. We took a ride on the ski lift and did a short hike at the top.

My nephew (in law) bought me a giant purple hoodie for secret Santa as a joke. I wear it all winter long. It's cozy as hell. Er, warm as hell, cozy as a blanket. Yeah, that's better.

Today's adventure: The Art of the Brick. A former corporate lawyer gave that up to make art with Legos.

After that we stopped at The Tang, a teaching museum at Skidmore College.

Today's adventure: Saratoga Historic National Park, the Battle of Saratoga site that commenced on Sept 19 1777.
A plaque marking the first stop on a ten point map with a brief description regarding the "turning point in America's Revolutionary War". It has two maps in relief that also included brail and raised map markers. Sign for the first stop: War is Coming. A memorial to the unknown soldiers that fell during the Battle of Saratoga. A landscape showing a high point above the Hudson River called and the mountains on rh other side.

A few more from Storm King. We found out after about two hours of tromping over hill and dale that there is a trolley that will bring you around most of the park. &$@!?

Victory Tower. A stone tower about three stories tall with a large open archway on each side. It overlooks the Hudson River. A statue depicting a Minuteman. Holding a rifle that could fire only one bullet at a time. A small stone house further inland than Victory Tower.

Today's adventure: Storm King Art Center.
A large metal sculpture at the bottom of a hill. It is composed of metal, with a rectangle resting on just one corner. Attached to the top corner is a much smaller square. A large black sculpture that is taller than the trees. It is vaguely saddle shaped. A sculpture made of iron beams set in the middle of a path between rows of forest. Behold! I figured out my style is "chaotic whimsy" with a touch of shant chic aka my stuff is old.
A wall with light yellow paint on top and a bold floral print below consisting mostly of peach, pink, and yellow flowers. Same wallpaper above the sink. Same wallpaper around the toilet and that particular section was a beast to get done. I do not recommend trying this.

Today's adventure: the Norman Rockwell Museum in Lenox MA..

Round things:
A bunch of tree limbs with similar sized diameter of main branch grouped together with the then all packed in a swooping figure on the floor A nearly perfectly round dom pile of sand. Yeah, I have no idea the point either. A person tall curved wall made completely out of beeswax. A circle of black concrete in a concave shape with multiple fractures in the blacktop.

Some pictures from Dia.
