I think think the Race Director should be able to directly communicate with drivers for certain instructions, like in Formula E

E.g. "Virtual Safety Car, stay hard left down the pit straight, marshalls will be on track collecting debris"

Seen this a little late since I can't seem to remember to use this app but I'm glad she's on the mend. I've been in your situation so I'll tell you to remember to take some time for yourself and breathe, and I'm sending you and her all the positive energy for her quick recovery.

As an example: monaco 2023 quali stands out to me as one of the most thrilling moments since I started to watch F1 in early 2022. I'm not a fan of either Max or Fernando but that moment when Max put that miraculous last sector outta nowhere was brilliant.

Camera direction could do a much better job to make it a more exciting race though

Also when it rains shenanigans are guaranteed, such a precision demanding race in a wet track? The best drivers shine there.
Not everything in F1 has to be overtakes in my opinion, but I do think that the+

Yeah it's not an overtake fest, and it NEVER was one. Even in the 80s it was considered one of the hardest tracks to overtake. That makes an overtake there worth a lot but more than that, there's no other race where quali is so important. I wouldn't like a whole season of races like that but+

I agree that the race is boring and this year with the lack of strategy because of the red flag highlighted that.
But it's a very unique challenge of precision for the drivers who have to do the most perfect lap possible and then not make mistakes for 78 laps in such a narrow track. (continues)
