Last week, @nymagunion.bsky.social reached a tentative agreement with New York Magazine and Vox Media. We could not be prouder of our members who made it clear they were ready to withhold their labor if Vox Media didn’t meet them with a fair contract.

Despite our willingness to compromise, management has rejected our sensible proposals again and again. Enough is enough.

97% of our members have signed onto a pledge to do whatever it takes to get a deal, including a potential work stoppage.
