I feel like trying to port any semblance of the existing game to mobile is going to fall a bit flat.
I’m all for mobile gaming, but will never choose the mobile version if another option exists.
Now, if they used the new mobile engine they’re building to retell the 1.0 story…

It’s a rough balance in a bad situation.
On the one hand alienating people is never the ideal because of how the industry works.
On the other hand the people most likely to be alienated by your anger are probably the cause of it and could stand to be a bit alienated.
