Executive privilege has no legal bearing on presidential succession, as the two concepts are entirely separate areas of constitutional and statutory law. Executive privilege cannot override or otherwise interfere with the established order of succession. 1/

The concept of a "soft succession" is not a recognized legal or constitutional term, but rather a political term (sometimes referred to as noncooperative federalism) describing a state or city's non-cooperation with the federal government without formally seceding. 2/

I’m not OVERESTIMATING anything; I’m making statements of fact, based on research! Read all of the article and @strictlychristo.bsky.social post! Then you can make your argument! I rest my case!

What’s your question, or comment?! If everyone would simply read the article I was kind enough to post twice now; by Eric Reinhart from The Guardian; you would get all your questions answered!

I’m an attorney, I always fact check prior to posting anything. Why are so many against this as an alternative?! I believe it’s a good idea, of course it’s not as simple as waving a magic wand; but an idea that should be considered, especially when we have such an authoritarian regime!

Given the fact that #45 has broken more laws than we could have imagined! Limitations of executive privilege include; criminal investigations, personal and political matters, final decisions, activities outside official duties, overlapping of other branches, and so many other areas!

I did read it, for me NPR, The Atlantic and The Guardian are excellent news media outlets! I’m not exactly sure what news outlets you’re eluding to in your pinned post?! Which ones are they?!

kindly refrain from attacking me! I will not tolerate it! I merely posted an article I found to be a possible & positive solution moving forward! We need to treat one another with kindness, if you can’t do that, I will not hesitate to mute and or block! These are trying times, we’re all affected!
