Which is interesting because. It's a targeted and personal attack at Aventurine, who, before receiving Mundanite's Insight and talking to Acheron, did want to make his death a spectacular display! A "show" as Sugilite outright says it in the Japanese dub!

All the others were referenced at some point or the other. Aventurine was already obviously referenced in 1.4. So was Jade, as in the screenshot below, as well as in Topaz's and Aventurine's character stories, before also being shown in 2.1.

back to this again though. I think it's important how farther they are from diamond- and his ideal of preservation. opal, obsidian and jade- the p46 employees, and therefore of a higher rank, are forward and centre. pearl's silhouette is slightly more shadowed- you can tell it's her from her dress.
