I came to NYC November 1989 for a visit. I fell in love and never left. I became a citizen and my first vote in 2008. The night Obama won was electric on the streets on NY. Late last night I heard young people on my block screaming in jubilation of this win. Feeling hopeful for the future 🍎

Thank you for sharing this about yourself. I also experience depression, and wanting to blow my brains out at times. It's taken a lot of work to accept this part of myself and just do what I can so I don't get too immersed in it. PS LOVE your work !!!
