I doubt m/any trick or treaters saw my Halloween chandelier of fairy skeletons last night but that’s fine since ‘the children’ were merely my justification for getting crafty anyway.

For anyone considering an inflatable ride-on style costume: you will also want a pair of suspenders to keep it up & a portable battery charger to keep it inflated. They come with a battery operated fan inside but apparently burn through them fast. My fully charged portable battery lasted >5+ hours.

We marched way farther than planned & I’m exhausted but proud to have participated in #NoKingsNYC. Lots of people took my picture but I didn’t think to take any until after it was over so I’m a pink sweaty disheveled mess but that’s okay. No one said Antifascism has to be pretty. #DuckYouFascists

I don’t own any yellow clothes so I had to buy an inflatable ride-a-ducky suit. I’m bringing yellow mini bubble wands for 40 of my new comrades. I hope they’re claimed quickly because this duck is already unwieldy even with free hands.

Thank you! Actually it’s a riding a duck suit that I’m a little too short for so the waist is up at my ribcage. I also got a ducky plush backpack to pull it all together. Is it a sexy? No. Is it silly? Definitely. Is it cute? Hopefully.

It’s taken 5 years but Harris has me almost fully trained now. Banging his water bowl: “I want to drink from the tap,” morning meows: “feed me,” night meows: “I’m bored, give me catnip!” I still frequently misunderstand his, “I just made a stinky poop & demand you clean it up immediately” meows tho.
