Diabetic medications are incredibly expensive. It is very dangerous to have Diabetes go untreated.

It wasn’t until the ACA was passed and made law in 2010, that my Type 2 Diabetes was no longer considered a preexisting condition and I could then afford medication.

When I tried to get health insurance on my own, through my own job, I was denied because they considered my Type 2 Diabetes a preexisting condition.

I went for decades either paying out of pocket for my Diabetes medications or not taking any medications because
