I must admit I'm not a religious person; in fact, I feel lost when it comes to religion. But if there is a God who could hear my words, then I'm grateful. Or maybe it was just a coincidence, I don't know. I just want to think that she's back with her sisters.

I remember one night I asked God if she really had to go, then to take her away so she would stop suffering. The next day she died. I miss her so much, but my dad said that I shouldn't worry anymore because she was already resting. That makes me feel better tbh.

She longed to be reunited with her sisters. She wanted to rest from that suffering. Every day she prayed to God to take her away, every day I heard those pleas, and at first I wanted to refuse to let her go. But I knew it was best to let her go so she could rest.

Months ago I said goodbye to my grandmother and it was painful. I never wanted her to leave, but I also saw her suffer daily from her cancer and heart problems. She wanted to leave, but we insisted that she had to continue living even though she burst into tears because she was suffering too much.
