I have a 5 1/2’ staff a wonderful friend of mine shipped all the way from PA to me last year.

When I lost use in my hands & fingers going thru chemo, I set it aside & told myself when I can feel again it will be ready for me.

I most certainly feel again ✌🏼

For the last month, I tried 5 times to make fudge. As soon as the 5th batch came out good, I cut squares and went and gave them to neighbors.

Baking has helped me exercise my mind, sharing helps my spirit, and the conversations I had sharing this mean so dang much & beyond for my awkward self ✌🏼

I’ve been struggling for several weeks now to get my calorie intake consistent, nausea has been hitting me the more I do during day.

Took me three days of remembering to eat, hydrating, and meds and bingo! Went for a bike ride and oh my

My three month post chemo checkups have begun.

Visit to hepatology and going over liver functions and iron results. Everything is in the green! Port is clear, zero issues to report. Gained five pounds!

Next week is oncology and internal medicine.

Unexpected trip to Fall River leads to finding a nice place to set your axe down and think.

Doing a bit too much. Fixed a Prius; got too involved in fixing it up last week and lost a few days getting it ready for inspection. Made dinners in crockpot. Baked a batch of brownies.

Forgot to take my adhd meds all week ha. Did an embroider on new smock, slowly coming back to all this life ✌🏼

Oncology yesterday, first of the last appointments. Everything is in green except some liver functions, and those are heading the right way as well.
CEA after a month no chemo shows even less than nothing it background noise✌🏼🤟🏻

There are three turkeys now that visit my house every day: 2 hens and 1 Tom. One I call “Mariah” is very enamored with me & it’s adorable. She flutters into yard making those purr clicks & will come right up to me.

Yesterday morning, a feather was at my steps.
