These were a lot of fun to mess around with different brushes/techniques, also bonus rocks.
This was drawing from a mountain picture but I wanted to focus on drawing the water instead. A lot of grey rocks are under the water. I used a spongy kind of brush for the water texture and layered a lot of shadows and light into it. Thoroughly enjoyed exploring this. A chalky drawing of a duck in a pond, lots of fronds are in the foreground with trees and bushes in the background. This drawing has a sort of postcard vibe to it. It is a bright sunny day, there are thick leaves at the bottom as you overlook a town below littered with houses and a church on the left side. There is a port where the ocean is readily available to explore. An abundance of green foliage populates the land and there is a single tree in front of your view. Rocks. Rocks. Rocks. Okay so there is a geode on the top left, with very flat shaping, a grey-reddish stone with bright blue and green slabs of crystal coming through the stone. On the top right is a deep blue sapphire, I'm very proud of how the lighting turned out, showing depth and the shininess of this precious gemstone. The big boy on the bottom I am not sure of what the name of the stone was but it is a clear stone with lots of colouring in it, making for a really interesting stone. It reminds me of the ocean.

There was also another study where we all drew the same picture but could only use up to four shades of any colour, love how these feel like game scenes. #art #artstudy
A rocky scene that has tall rock hills, a few slim tall trees stand in the middle. The colour chosen was a monochrome brown-orange pallete. A point of view from the bed, there is a drawer beside it. Looking out towards the hall is a glass screen door, further ahead is a road with shrubbery alongside it. The colour is a monochrome dusty orange pallete. A pathway curves around various buildings with two strips of markings from a vehicle with water in them, a rocky ceiling hangs above you as you explore. The buildings have hanging wires, grated windows and two tone paint on their walls. This drawing uses a blue monochrome colour pallete. A dusky setting from a bed, there are multiple plant hanging over you as bright light comes in from the window, the only source of light from which you could view anything. This uses a purple monochrome pallete.
