i got into photography by a decision i made in 2015 to take an art cla... see complete post
a road late at night, shown by the reflection of a car's side mirror. the road is illuminated red from the car's taillights. a close-up of a dilapidated, peeling sign. there is a printed letter 'Y' with the ink coming off of it in patches. a lamp with a blacklight bulb in it. the photo is shot head-on with a low exposure, causing to look like the nucleus of a cell. a peeling sticker on top of a piece of machinery for water treatment. the visible remaining print on the sticker reads: "LAND-O-MATT LP-300 CHLORINATO".

screenshot of a discord message that reads: "sometimes to test if my footwork tracks are good (rhythmically) i mute a footwork battle video and play the track over it. something about the audio-visual paring forces me to really focus on rhythmic flow for the sake of danceability, which is the point of footwork tracks. if it's hypothetically plausible that the dancer in the video could be battling to my track, then it's sound. i don't do footwork dance myself (would love to though) so i can't check with my own body, this works just as well a lot of music theory in african, carribean, and afro-american culture is based off of dance and percussive flow, the reason pharrell beats are rhythmically addicting is because that guy was in drumline. it makes sense that this is the logical conclusion to testing if a track works, i'm putting the theory to the test despite having no formal words for what i'm doing"
