The point is, the results show a Democratic slump, not a MAGA surge.
I don't agree that the Dem slump is a product only of info war. People had valid reasons to be unhappy or angry with Biden & Harris. Letting Trump back in was super-dumm, but I think the Clinton-to-Biden Democrats are finished.

The point is, the results show a Democratic slump, not a MAGA surge.

Again, this is weak turnout on the Blue side, not national shift to the right as the spin map tries to make us believe.

I think you can attend any of these meetings and participate in these organizations without fear that you will be entrapped in violence, or in nonviolent confrontation that you are not prepared for. But I think we all need to think hard about what we would sacrifice to defend democracy and humanity.

Every time a MAGA pol or nominee is pressed on the extremism and violence they promise to unleash on America, their answer is to claim that the people have given them a mandate.
What they mean is, they believe they have the power to do as they wish and that nobody can stop them.

Of course, many are already having their doors broken down. One thing that makes nonviolence difficult is that so many are already experiencing violence and have been down through history. So we have a violent culture, with constant threats and offenses. And now we are facing a violent dictatorship.
