I haven’t invested in Polycab since Sep '22. With allegations of fraud and competition entering the wires and cable market, now will be my real test of the buy-and-hold strategy. I’ll hate to see this XIRR graph go down, but the hard truth is, it will. A 45% XIRR is simply unrealistic.

The FII sell off has been brutal. Since Sep‘24, the XIRR on my investment in DSP ELSS Tax Saver has gone from more than 30% to 20%. Although it is still beating Nifty 500, the 10% fall hurts.
