Sorry to be that one person but uhm, largely before Alastor's time period monocles had mostly gone out of style. But I agree I actually do like him quite a lot in this version but yeah technically if he ever had bad eyesight he most likely would have opted for glasses instead.

I don't think the AU would focus much on the Quasimodo of the story...but probably Charlie, in a certain way or form, would make the most sense, but it's up to the creator.
