I hope someone is writing a book about how journalists failed their profession during this era, starting with 2015 and after. Naming names and what they did or didn’t do, so they can live in infamy in US history forever. If I were a writer I’d do it but I suck at it lol.

This applies to all industries. They’ve been cutting jobs, losing all the knowledge and institutional memory, no training for new hires. Short term profits over long term stability.

I don’t mean to be ageist but unfortunately the older crowd needs to be voted out for all of that even having a chance to pass. This is no longer their world. They keep applying an outdated playbook to a new game. We need new people that are not hung up on the status quo, we need a new foundation.

He knows he is not bringing much to the US. Not the same as paying tariffs on various raw materials than paying a one time tariff for the whole device. Add to that the cost of US labor, which will make it even more astronomically expensive
