I get that. Still makes no sense to taint everything you’ve built with this. She had nothing. She had everything. Now, it’s time to ruin a legacy and destroy all of your hard work? There has to be some deep-seated psychological something here.

I do not understand this. I just can’t wrap my head around it. She is wildly successful. She had secured legendary status as an author. What manner of deep bitterness, insecurity, and likely past experiences makes her unable to leave such a small community alone? Why????
