I have a simple motto which I hold myself to:
"Don't look for reasons to be unhappy"
You'll know when you have a real problem on your hands, and it's much more fun to ask how that problem can be solved using your own brain and your own skills rather than an app or a widget.

Focus less on the meeting people part and more on the have fun part, friends will come naturally with it. Just vibe! You're playing games, we're all here to have fun and enjoy ourselves and company is just a bonus, it always is.
