Happy Humbug everybody! #caturday
A black and white cat is asleep on a soft grey blanket atop a sofa. Her tiny adorable white paw sticks out from the rest of her curled up body and rests lightly on my pale wrist, almost as if she is holding my hand.

From a wooden curtain pole, a pair of teal curtains hang by wood curtain rings. The curtains feature a repeating pattern made up of illustrated black and white cats though they are hard to make out individually in this image. Behind the curtains the wall is a dark-ish grey.

Struck by genius the other weekend, I decided Humbug’s gaping maw was perfect for pop art. Being in possession of zero artistic skill myself, I ran her face through a free app and made this masterpiece. Sadly it’s the wrong size to tile properly for custom wrapping paper haha! #Humbug #CatsofBluesky

The image has been converted into greyscale, so all that remains are her black ears and the top of her head, a black patch under her chin, and the dark details of her gaping mouth, complete with pointed teeth and a long tongue. As a background, and filling in her white parts, in each of the four repetitions of the image is a bright colour, in a mock “pop art” style. Clockwise from top left the colours are green, cyan, magenta and yellow.

Humbug and Pepper in unusual positions! (Old pics) #caturday
A black and white cat (named Humbug) sits in a half-covered cat bed, with one of her back legs sticking out and pointing to the side in an unusual manner. She has a front paw and leg resting over the top of the sticking out back leg, and a facial expression as if she has been caught mid-bath. A small and slender black cat (named Pepper) rests atop a curtain pole. Her tail fur is slightly fluffed up and she has a mad, almost crazed look in her eyes. Her ears are pushed down against her head by the textured ceiling.
