That was the genesis of the "books" platform. CBSE textbooks in an interactive fashion. Same curriculum and an alternative for the textbook. Students can sign up for free and "do" the chapters instead of just reading them in the textbook.

At Innings 2 where I am advising my wife, we said why dont we build something that can help the kids do the same thing that they do at school, but do it better. So they dont need to do some thing extra.

But not enough for it to create novels. Remember as the context length increases, the amount of data needed also increases exponentially

I think 2 things.
1. Maybe next word prediction is not enought. We need next concept prediction?
2. Not enough novels data available to model novels. We have enough blogs data, so AI can write good blogs. But we need a lot lot more novels for it to be able to learn how to write novels.

Have to give it to Sama and the SV crowd for the way they innovate with pricing. Pro mode for a software. What does it do extra? It will "think more". 🤣🤑

This is also the main reason we have not yet released a Telugu audio data set collected through crowd sourcing. We need to define the license first. Right now, the only ones who benefit from an open dataset are the mega corps.

This is exactly the reason I have been saying that we need a new license. A license which allows creators and maybe platforms control how their data can be used. Maybe GPL license for data in the era of AI. This is what Swecha with help from SFLC in India is trying to create.
