Yes, kids will need to learn academics but these lessons shouldn't be straight-jacketed onto them in the toddler & preschool years. The funneling down of structured learning is even MORE reason to let kids play while they can. Let's protect this precious, ever shrinking window of time for our kids

Remember... no child wants to be behaving in a manner that annoys or angers us. So what they need is for us to help them stop, rather than scolding or punishing them.

Not everything about play needs an adult or content 😌. Sometimes children just need time to be. Babies need time for unoccupied play (adult is there), such as kicking their legs, trying tummy time, or putting their hands feet into their mouths, helps babies explore the world #PlayMatters #Earlyyears
