Part time trauma therapist with small private practice have had very few cis het male clients over the years. There does not seem to be adequate modeling of how to emotionally take care. Lots of modeling of limited emotional responses. We all suffer from this.

I see a man who is hungry for power and also in deep grief and shock over the death of a friend. The trauma therapist in me hopes that he can find healthy ways to process his grief.

When will the dems learn how to validate someone’s experience/feelings instead of turning to talking points. I am a psych provider and lemme tell ya, people love to be validated, it’s often what they seek they seek the most. Validate and then turn to policy and then validate again and again…
