Welp, there goes all my money!

I was always attracted to ortho primarily for the cool tools. Carpentry where your joins heal themselves! Fortunately for humanity I lacked the funds for med school. You are welcome.

My impulse is to roll my eyes and mutter "Darwin". Sadly experience tells me this asshat will wind up in an ER, needing all kinds of modern medicine to keep his stupid ass alive. Which somehow will not make it to his social media feed.

This guts me so much.

I will also add that as someone who relies on audio books for my reading due to vision issues, having Audible trying to force that ghastly woman's books down my throat every time I open the app is getting really old.

Seriously. How are the horrific actions of that awful cow such a mystery to people? This is someone who is funding actual attacks on trans folk. So yeah, people who pay attention don't want to give her any more money. The franchise has been tainted by the author not the reverse.

Minnesota, of all places, is being used as an example of what will happen to people to try to exercise their rights. To Governors who refuse to bend the knee to tyranny and corruption. To asylum seekers fleeing persecution and death in their own countries who were promised safety here in the US.

Who is getting paid? A guy in a tacky gold painted office with his hands in as much federal tax money as he can funnel into his own pockets. Justices taking gifts for rulings in favor of the administration, untrained thugs hiding behind anonymity, guns and riot gear.

I tend to frame it up in terms of People of Good Will, who can be any of us, and People of the Book, who are motivated externally as well as internally.

This is awesome, reminds me of living in Denver. Being out on a call in the middle of the night as snow is starting to fall and seeing all the trucks rolling out to start putting melt onto the roads and highways.
