Hi fellow language learners! I’m wondering, what do you do to learn vocabulary? I’m currently basically writing phrases with the words i don’t know which I find while reading, on my french textbook or even on duolingo, and then writing the translation or meaning on top. I only do this with words I 🧵

I’ve just read a fragment of one of Joel Dickers books in french and I surprisingly understood everything, it was also clearer that in spanish (my native tongue)
I didn’t think my french was good enough to understand it but what job did the translators do?

In this case it’s about The Maid by Nita Prose.

To sum it up: I picked this book up as it is implied Molly is ND, but the writing about it felt off and fake. Most of the book was pretty predictable too.
