Today marks 35 years since the day that @cwweir.bsky.social and I met. We’ve known each other longer than most of our students have been alive.

Friends, then roommates, then together, then writing partners, then married.

It’s been a great 35 years so far.

Hard to believe that Carrie Fisher has been gone for 7 years. Princess, writer, actor, inspiration, and caustic wit. She is, was, and always will be important to me. And the Force will be with her… always.

Andre Braugher in HOMICIDE was so good it defied logic. He blew me away, every week. And in BROOKLYN 99, he brought me to tears with laughter. Every week. Rest in Peace, Andre Braugher. There will never be another like you.

Just saw The Marvels! It was comic book silly, in terms of story logic and psuedo-science. But like so many comics I read growing up, it is so much fun, so exciting, that I loved the silly aspect. And it was funny, emotional, and had some of the best action sequences in the MCU. Loved it.
