It's downright Orwellian how Conservatives have taken terms like "woke" "progressive" "liberal" "vaccine" & "gay" and polluted their meanings, not only turning them upside down but inside out in ways not even Orwell could have imagined. "Empathy" is yet another one on the chopping block.
