I like your thinking but I wouldn't wish that on any first round qb.
Build the offense to where it can function and pick up a cheap veteran. Worry about 1st round qbs once they have something to work with.
You could put Mahomes under center right now and they'd still lose most games.

Firing Saleh was a good move. If they want the franchise to succeed in the future, they need to invest in the o-line and cut Rodgers and Adams loose.
The money on these two players alone could pay a decent o-line.
