As someone who does a lot of street photography, I don’t have a problem with what this woman did. If someone is out there taking photos/video to mock someone, to be a creep, or to do those stupid “prank” vids, then they deserve whatever they get. I defend a lot of public photography, but not this.

That’s not how you get rid of fascism though… Besides, his supporters will never give him up at this point. Getting rid of fascism is going to be messy business, and we all better get ready for it.

The original aims of the revolution was to free the people from the authoritarian rule of the czars. The authoritarian rule of the USSR was not good, but the original revolution was absolutely justified.

Coincidentally I also grew up in a rural area around hunters and landowners, and my opinion on this is quite informed. Corner crossing to more public land is not the same as hunting on private property.

No, I was comparing the whole thing to how feckless the GOTV mindset is. Being an ally and building community is just the bare minimum. Lobbying representatives who don't give a shit about you is pointless. The system will not save us. Those in power don't listen unless you pose a threat.

There is a fascist coup going on. People are being black bagged off the street and taken to prisons in El Salvador. ICE is ignoring court orders and doing whatever they want. Musk is dismantling the safeguards. The centrist liberal get-out-the-vote tactics aren't going to accomplish anything.
