Lmao... Talking to me about point when his ancestors are Dutch colonists that enslaved natives on another continent and ruined their culture, and he decided to go as an immigrant to the US and has the nerve to talk about culture like he understands or respects any of that stuff. 😂
December 4, 2025 at 9:50 AM
Uh huh.... So all immigrant Americans should leave the US so that native American culture can flourish, numbnuts 😘
December 4, 2025 at 9:35 AM
Sigh... This is dumb. Then all immigrants should leave America for the native Americans then. 😂

Who cares? All that matters is if the game is good. If it is, people will buy it.

I don't know. I would love nothing more than to see him removed from office but if insurrection wasn't enough to have him removed, this won't do anything.

The only people who want just 2 parties are people on the far right who hate democracy and feel that it will be easier to create division with a 2 party system and push for autocracy.
November 17, 2025 at 9:30 PM
It just makes sense. How can just 2 parties represent all the different views possible within a population? For example, NZ now has a party that is pro business and also green. They want to tax land, have a sort of UBI etc. It may not be successful but such combinations should be possible.

Until money is removed from politics we will keep seeing these results where politicians don't work in the interest of the working class.
November 10, 2025 at 9:44 PM
That's just the election part. What about him being able to buyout twitter? A single person being able to do stuff like that is the issue.
November 7, 2025 at 4:59 AM
They just use this net worth as a bargaining chip in the current financial system and it gives them unprecedented power to influence society by either buying platforms or financing elections.
November 7, 2025 at 4:43 AM
Ok then what is your solution to billionaires having so much power that they can just buy social platforms like twitter? Elon Musk's net worth was a major factor in his ability to secure financing for the acquisition. His wealth, mostly tied up in Tesla stock, served as the collateral & source.
November 7, 2025 at 4:42 AM
Funnily enough he moved to NZ that has a much higher tax rate than the US. Anyway, that's besides the point. Norway does a wealth tax. There are so many examples. Anything is better than unchecked financial system in the US
November 7, 2025 at 4:02 AM
Yes. Keep increasing those percentages until it is high enough that he doesn't accumulate 100 billion dollars.
November 7, 2025 at 4:00 AM
Look if there's a will to tax net worth, you can. But you're clearly in the damp camp of not doing that. So you'll throw every argument you can to make it sound stupid. No one creates anything without the rest of the country you live in. So yes, tax them in a way they can't get out of the loophole.
November 7, 2025 at 3:57 AM
Lol I'm not an economist. If other countries can curb wealth, so can the US. Maybe you can't take away stuff that people already own, but you can slowly make sure that a single person doesn't have enough wealth to make future purchases like that.
November 7, 2025 at 3:51 AM
I get it but if it was even a remotely fair financial system, there wouldn't be billionaires in the first place. Even Scandinavian countries with high tax rates have billionaires but they are between 4-5 billion, not several 100 billion like the US has & certainly not a trillion.
November 7, 2025 at 3:44 AM
And the complication is designed to ensure that only a few are disproportionately rewarded when their input is not at the level that would justify that reward. No wonder we have so much wealth inequality. Even compared to Tesla employees, Musk is just stupidly overpaid.
November 7, 2025 at 3:41 AM
Point is clearly the current financial system has gotten complicated enough to ensure that workers who clearly are a big part of the product don't receive the rewards proportionally. The system is completely out of balance.
November 7, 2025 at 3:35 AM
I don't know the answer. All these clearly seem like loopholes. Tax the stock options or tax when the actual amount is being spent for a specific thing when these people use inordinate amounts of money to buy a company like when Musk bought twitter.
November 7, 2025 at 3:33 AM
Uh yes... a hard income cap... And it should be long before a trillion because no one ever discovers, produces and builds any of this on their own. Tax the shit out of them so that no one is even a multi billionaire, let alone a trillionaire.
November 7, 2025 at 2:34 AM
I like the cast but I really don't like the kelvin universe. So if they want to reboot it in the normal universe, then I'm good. I just hate this concept of multiple universes. The lore of star trek is great. Maybe lean into it?

Yessssssssss !!!!!

I had friends log back into the game and when they found out they have to grind 200 levels to play them same level as me, they just logged out. Power grind just isn't fun. Managing items, infusing etc is not a fun loop. Chasing loot should be the grind, not power.
October 30, 2025 at 7:51 PM
Tbh power grind is pointless. There's no reason to grind when there are fixed difficulties and you can't over level activities. Get rid of power.
