The perceived speed of change is fascinating to me. The underpinnings of the change may have been in motion for decades, but the change itself seems lightning fast. It's like an ice shelf separating from a glacier into the sea. Over so quickly, and yet the cause took years and years.

I was watching a video on Stephen Wolfram's computational universe theory where time is an irreducible calculation that must be performed step by step and each step describes the state of the universe. It sounds like we're living in a git repository. Could we go back to 2015 and rebase from there?
