This was not a resolution to tolerate him, this is explicitly a resolution to honor and commend his life work, a big part of which was advocating for the eradication of trans people from public life. We have no obligation as trans people to give any honor to his legacy.

I feel like the frog slowly being boiled alive, the people who might actually be able to do something about it won't notice how hot the temperature is getting until it's too late. They just slowly keep taking and taking, but every step is small enough that nobody who is not directly affected cares.
