Blue had been minding her own business, when she suddenly slipped and plummeted down a mystery abyss. Upon waking to a garbled, static voice, she found herself staring at the last person she expected to see. Erith. "Holy SHIT-" Blue exclaimed, shooting upward in shock. She recoiled in turn, her head pounding sharply from the fall. "AH! Don't move so sudden like that!" Erith exasperated. He snapped his fingers together, creating a pink spark within them. "Here, I think I can..." He then reached out to touch Blue's head, a sparkling glow bursting out. It seemed to relieve a bit of her pain. Blue sits speechless. "Better?" Erith's concern is sickly sweet. Blue scowls - mostly from being overstimulated at the situation. Erith.... she buried him years ago. And yet he's. . . . . [[ Is this some kind of sick joke??? ]]

Wandering the endless halls in a disorienting labyrinth, Erith seeks answers. Although the walls are constantly shifting, it's like a part of him knows the path to follow. The slight unnerving feeling he carried upon entering would only grow deeper, until it had a weight on his breath. A firm grasp on his shoulder stopped him dead, his breath hitched. His head began to pound as his heart drove wild in his chest. He didn't dare turn.

Sometime after the last evening event, Cardinal returned Artemys home. They stopped in front of the stoney structure, the light from the porch illuminating their faces. As soon as they arrived at the threshold, Cardinal made no effort to stick around. "A'ight. I'm heading home," he said as he turned his back to his pal. Artemys almost didn't have a second thought about parting ways so abruptly, his feet already in motion up the stairs. But he paused for a moment, realizing it didn't feel right. He watched the demon amble down the brick path, calling back, "Later, Ari," as he made his way back to his own place in the dark. Artemys had to act before he was gone. He stumbled off the porch, shouting after him. "Cardinal! Wait-" Cardinal stopped. He turned around as the raggamuffin jogged toward him, curious of his urgency. Once Artemys reached him, he grabbed just below his shoulder. The demon raised his brows. 'What was he up to...?' Before he had a chance to vocalize his question, Artemys sprung up on his tip-toes, planting a gentle kiss on his left cheek. The night seemed more vibrant in that moment, the melodies of the darkness reverberating in his brain. Though loud, Artemys cut through the sound with his voice. "Thank you for tonight. I really appreciated your company. And effort." He said it with such sincerity. Cardinal stood idle, stuck in awe. He couldn't quite register what he was feeling in that second. Or thinking. He barely heard the final goodbye as Artemys retreated into his home. "Goodnight, Cardinal." The demon was entrance a little bit longer, before it suddenly hit him. His face lit up a bright celeste hue, his body tensing up. Flustered, he spins around and stomped out of the yard, finally returning home himself.

After an afternoon of delightful events, Artemys and Cardinal sit on the boardwalk wall, watching the sun set below the ocean. They both hold a bowl of frozen yogurt - Cardinal already having finished his last bite. Artemys has a forlorn stare. Cardinal peers down at the raggamuffin, seemingly nettled the bowl was still full. "I haven't seen you take a single bite 'outta that entire bowl," he jabbed. "I told you, you should've gotten Birthday Cake. Not- whatever cinna-roll shit you got." Artemys glances at the demon as he speaks. He chuffs. Cardinal is prickled by the sound, leaning in an aggressive manner. "HUH?! What'd I say that was so funny???" "Mmm... Nothing," Artemys responds softly. "I suppose I'm just amused by your charm." Cardinal slightly fixed his posture. "You're like... Biting into a Brass Apple," he continued. "WHICH- I like by the way." The demon felt... odd from the cadence in Artemys' voice. He noticed their hands were inches from touching. He was usually appalled by the thought of physical interaction, but... For a second, he thought, just maybe it wouldn't be that bad. He found himself reaching for the other's pale mitt before it suddenly swiped away. Artemys had had enough of the hard surface of the wall. The sun had said farewell, and so he would too. He let out a sigh. "Maybe I'm laughing cause' you're right. Cinnabunroll only sounded good in concept." He hopped down from the ledge onto the boardwalk, his shoes clicking against the wooden road. Cardinal finally realizing where the raggamuffin intended on going, twisted his body to face him. He exclaimed, "Wait! A...Artemys..." Artemys turned his head to listen. "Do you mind if we stay out a bit longer?" Cardinal asked with a more dulcet tone. "There's somewhere I wanted to stop." Artemys thought for a moment. "Sure, Cardinal."

The idea for "Ghost Quartz" was during the incubation period - by lucky chance - a gem would be struck by lightning, causing them to over bake and crawl out with lack of height + desaturated hues. Despite size, they are a force to be reckoned with in strength and speed. Though in return, they are extremely prone to poofing and cannot summon a weapon. I believe they also had a problem with obedience to authority, so they were often disposed of. We were allowed to name our ocs something other than what their gem was. Mine was like... Eclair or somthing- They were also a Zebra Quartz base I believe
