NOT TO MENTION that the effectiveness is so dependent on external factors it’s basically random. What happens if a recovering person relapses and thinks they’re 100% immunized, only to find out it doesn’t work at all?

I’m just frightened about what a callous justice system could do with technology like this. Reading the article *kind of* assuages my worries since from my understanding none of these vaccines/agonists are permanent and they only work on certain molecules.

God I can see this going so wrong in so many ways. Making people who are addicted *immune to painkillers* as a first point of contact instead of counteracting *any* of the underlying causes behind their addiction… just utterly fucked.

Not a researcher but pop science has always really bothered me. Why is it that the articles meant to communicate research to those without the time to break it down are so frequently completely and utterly wrong?

I’m gonna be honest I personally think the disqualification was totally fair. The terms are “no AI was used in the development of” and Clair Obscure had AI used in its development. Zero means zero, they’re applying the rules fairly. Honestly the award going to Blue Price isn’t a huge loss.

My girlfriend takes injections, something to keep all that kit in one spot would really help.
Keeping it sterile might be a pain though… probably not crucial but I’m a little paranoid about it.
For my own pills I’m planning to print out some Gridfinity-compatible holders so don’t worry about me.
