True, that doesn't sound right... I assumed saving to an outfit slot (that you already paid for) would be free, but even ignoring that, this would make Transmog even more expensive than it already is. Let's hope this is all WIP, and next week's build shows a very different picture.

Yeah the only way 20-ish sets are enough, especially at that price, is if addons are allowed to save custom sets, and swap them into outfit slots with some user-input clicks, so that you can juggle regularly-used outfits while also keeping more niche stuff for special occasions (or seasons/events)

I'd say it's a more or less unintended side effects of how most glow effects are just 2D textures.

This! Good for current content (people don't feel tempted to need on lower-iLvl stuff in LFR/PuG runs) and good for legacy runs (only need to run the highest difficulty, with exceptions e.g. extra mount chances)

As early as Vanilla, Druid Shapeshifts said "The act of shapeshifting frees the caster of Polymorph and Movement Impairing effects." and sure, there are some examples where that shouldn't work, like boss abilities, but even in Vanilla, there were plenty trivial examples where that didn't work.
