Tympanophora uvarovi, a jewel-like katydid from New South Wales. Unlike many other katydid species that have spectacularly colored nymphal stages but turn plain green upon reaching adulthood, this species retains its gorgeous color palette.

This is a fancy, diurnal, clear-winged moth sipping liquid from a leaf. Moths in this family often resemble stinging insects, but this species didn't get the memo. It went for jungle air-shrimp instead. #Inverts #MothMonday

This is a fancy, diurnal, clear-winged moth sipping liquid from a leaf. Moths in this family often resemble stinging insects, but this species didn't get the memo. It went for jungle air-shrimp instead. #Inverts #MothMonday

I got my homework done yay :) I only have 3 real classes aside from ensembles/lessons this semester and i think it will be so nice to not have a lot of work to do
