Always get an original copy of whatever console version. The remastered may have sharper image, but that's nothing compared to having a multiplayer. Proud owner of an Xbox 360 copy here.

Same! I want to pick up my guitar as well, but I'm not in a stable situation right now. I did, however went back to playing YGO with the Master Duels app. I'm pretty happy I about that. I hope you'll meet some of your goals!
