I love the FA Cup and its history but in the last few years scheduling has made it lose that little bit of prestige.

Only Emre has a high points per game average since arriving at Villa 1.90 Eddie 1.75, Glazner 1.74 and Irola 1.43. I think the caveat is that Emre started with a lot better squad than the other 3. So statistically you’re taking bollocks.

Only a failure PR wise. Players coming in earlier is a learning but transfers are so complex and can move one way or another within minutes (friend is an ex agent). It involves so many different people with their own agenda. If club insiders say AH was a steady hand that’s exactly what you want.

Reporting isn’t just two sides i.e good/bad wrong or right it could be a 5/10/50/100 and so on. AH could be all or nothing. All I know is reading many of @georgecaulkin.bsky.social articles he’s one of our finest journalists in the NE. I trust his information far more than social media rumours.

Look at #mufc in the 90’s they kept being “lucky” ? no they were ruthless. In Wor Eddie we have that mentality 🏆⚽️🇪🇺
