Many federal courts have determined Military deployment on US soil is illegal. And there is this law called “Posse Comitatus” that forbids such use of military unless authorized by the constitution or congress. Not President.

You know about 1% of our population dies each year. 1% of 42 million is 420,000. Sounds like they are pretty on top of it. my first thought when a family member dies is not to call and tell government to stop SNAP. Might be somewhere in top 10 on my list. Pretty high but not top of mind.
