Sounds like Stephen Miller couldn’t get into Harvard.

As an old white lady whose family has been in the US since before there was US, I’m not about to tell guys like Teo and Miggy that they owe us resistance.

I’m willing to bet that the number of these guys with friends/family in direct threat from this admin is not zero.

And they’re still billionaires so who cares?

Tell the stories of normal Americans who are legitimately afraid they’re about to lose everything because 22% of eligible voters wanted this jackass as POTUS.

A horrifying thought I just had…a whole bunch of prime real estate burned to the ground here in CA. Is he making it too expensive to rebuild so he and other developers can buy it all, cancel the tariffs, build Trump towers all over?

Please someone assure me I’m nuts.

“The team at MAL” so Elon Musk at Mar-a-Lago balancing silverware on his finger is deciding who we bomb.

While also asserting that the US-Canadian border is optional and Canadians are begging to be assimilated.

It’s the media’s job to be upset. You guys have the Constitutionally-protected direct line, not us. Instead you use that platform to sit around interviewing each other. Try, you know, reporting.

John Oliver does more to inform and educate in one hour, once a week than your entire 24/7 network.
March 12, 2025 at 12:42 AM
In 2017, people still had hope.

Then the media (hi, Chris Hayes) spent 20-24 telling us how horrible Biden/Harris were while giving Trump’s insanity a free pass. Plus zero coverage of Project 2025, no outrage for pregnant women dying, then the rapist gets re-elected…

Why would we march again?

Blue state universities being targeted while red states get their government office funding back.

Apparently we weren’t supposed to notice?

“And those protesters…? All Albert Einsteins.”
March 8, 2025 at 11:29 PM
Hard to understand why men as famously arrogant and power-hungry as Hawley and Cruz are fine with groveling to Elon Musk, hat in hand.
March 6, 2025 at 5:13 AM
Trump is so timid, it would be great to do something bizarre that freaks him out. Like stand up and rhythmically clap while chanting “germs, germs, germs.”
March 1, 2025 at 11:19 AM
Too much of our media grew up in the same 6-7 fancy zip codes and went to the same 3-4 fancy universities.

The rest of us grew up in sight of an abandoned steel mill with grandparents who would be destitute without Social Security. To them, policy is theory. For us, policy is reality.

(Refreshes cocktail, grabs a cheese snack.)

Ready.
March 1, 2025 at 10:10 AM
Golf clap and chant “Nyet” (or whatever) in unison at the applause lines.

It would totally freak him out.
March 1, 2025 at 7:58 AM
Do something really bizarre and visual that will make Trump (who is a massive coward) nervous and play VERY well on social.

Ten minutes into the speech, everyone pulls out a single tomato.

Dress like Elon Musk. Blazer and “Occupy Mars” shirt.

Watch many episodes of Leverage, pick something.

High five
March 1, 2025 at 7:21 AM
Everyone put the Family Feud “wrong” noise on their phones and blast it every time he lies.

Say “bullshít” while sneezing, always a classic.

Or vuvuzelas. Those things are really annoying.
March 1, 2025 at 7:20 AM
Between Curtis Yarvin and Project 2025, we were told the plan, in specific detail.

It sounded nuts in 2012, but here we are.
February 28, 2025 at 9:34 AM
Yes. If the majority of white men were honest with themselves, they believe white men are better.

Growing up in a red state and working in two different male-dominated industries, this isn’t a big secret.
February 28, 2025 at 3:57 AM
A guy named Elon Musk is fighting with a guy named Carlos Slim over a system called Starlink, so things are moving in a very Roger Moore era Bond direction.
February 28, 2025 at 2:54 AM
Those USAID offices are being packed wall to wall with good old-fashioned bugs.

L’etat, c’est Elon.
February 28, 2025 at 2:50 AM
I understand a lot of Musk’s endgame with privatization. Conservatives are still cheering, however misguided.

But I don’t get this. Crashing planes and making people afraid to fly accomplishes…what? Already private airlines will take a huge financial/stock hit, many red states rely on tourism…hmm.
February 28, 2025 at 2:37 AM
@brianstelter.bsky.social reposting this is rich.

Curtis Yarvin has been publicly telling us his plan for the techno autocracy since at least 2012.

Trump made the Project 2025 architect his campaign policy chair in 2024.

But you guys kept saying we were, to quote Brian, “hysterical.”
