If you want to understand where the States is headed don't look to 1984 or similar dystopian novels, look to Atlas Shrugged. The premise of the book being that the only society which has merit is one made by the elite for the elite. These billionaires want to turn America into John Galt's paradise.

Hollywood makes movies where justice prevails to convince us States dwellers that all is right in the world.
It's escapism, a panacea, and a veil.
I'm all for entertainment. It is entertaining. But like, the veil was rent. When will non-fiction match the dream?
