I watched the stream from the Bay Area. So cool to see two people I follow, meet up to have a great conversation. BTW, Paulo Bacigalupi is also a favorite author of mine. Wish he would write more. He wrote a very relevant short story in 2019 for the MIT alumni magazine; title is “A Full Life.”

Thank you SO much for hosting this. I participated from the San Francisco Bay Area, and I was thrilled that two seemingly very different writers I follow on BlueSky are actually good friends and signed up to do this conversation together. It was definitely worthwhile.

50 years ago, IU basketball had a perfect season on their way to the NCAA championship. IU now has the only teams in basketball and football to accomplish that.
