I end up using the square mixer for most. Haven't tried the soft acrylic yet. Keep wanting a little more from the live oil brushes 🤷

Thanks for the replies! It makes sense about the overall finish of the piece (esp the scumbling). I guess I figured acrylic was already pretty stable so extra protection seemed redundant

👍 did I see a previous post mention that you varnish your acrylic pieces? I've seen the benefits w/oil & varnish, how's it w/acrylic?
