When I was 15yo (1990) I modified a crosstitch pattern for my Craft class. I had never done any hand sewing previously.
I no longer have the piece I made.
But! I found the original pattern and have just completed it. Here it is, just washed.
Celebrating 35 years of craft.
Very pleased.

I get that. Today my own void cat pissed on my rug after i managed to clip all 4 paws and administer worm meds.

Loved Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor BUT every vision of him reminded me of Tom Cruise in Tropic Thunder (2008). The styling, the intense delivery. Just younger. And less hair and gold.

The Pirate Movie (1982) had so most songs recorded in Melbourne! I didn't expect that!
And seeing David Hirschfelder and The Peter Cupples Band listed as producers too. Love it!

What a day! My son has turned 10.
And scored a free ice cream with his favorite lollies mixed in!
Add in some donuts & new Switch games and I think he's pretty happy.
(Not to mention all the other gifts he's received so far AND all the other unlisted junk food).

Totally confused, I asked him if he meant the old US TV show.
"No. No Mum. The new game Donkey Kong Bonanza that will be on the Nintendo Switch 2."
And I felt our age gap of 40 years widen ever so slightly.

Just introduced my son to #Tekken3 on my #PSOne
He's loving it now but I suspect it will soon be followed with a desire for newer Tekken and we no longer have any Playatations other than my PSOne.
It's the only PSOne game I actually own now.
