We’re 10 years ahead of you. I still love our ‘family holiday’ when our girls join us but also love the times when it’s just the two of us. You learn to enjoy both. Like you I’m lucky to have amazing children and a partner who I enjoy spending time with.

Monday only calling will make a huge difference in my mind. The stress of half the week on tenterhooks really adds to the pressure. Not in the window currently but remember the relief/disappointment at Wednesday lunchtime when they hadn’t called. Easier to focus effectively for the rest of the week
