Originally this started as a sketchbook doodle that I decided to colour because Matatabi has such a fun colour gradient to her hair.

After I finished coloring I went “hmm would be interesting to redraw in her dead form to contrast the two sides to her character” + did bg to help illustrate further

Anyways, this insomnia fueled ramblings was brought upon by re-looking up Lisianthus flowers which I associated with Jackson and Elise (my soulmate pair) and they represent life-long bond, and rising above your surroundings and being grateful for everything in life which fits their story perfectly

First time building anything kind of object in 3D - I'm praying that I can successfully UV all this, and I've not wasted 20+ hours.

One of the small things that has brought me a lot of joy these past few weeks is fully embracing my status as a cat dad

New toys for them, better food etc.
