Views are my own, not my employer's
Ironically—at least in my own experience—what she's demonstrating is how it looks to the naked eye.

Here's a comparison I made myself. Left is how it looks to the naked eye, even though it appears oversaturated when you look at it next to how the camera chooses to take the photo.

All the replies are some flavor of this. We are BEGGING to be heard! WE WANT PHOTOS BACK WITH THEIR TRUE COLORS

Here's two photos I took. The left photo is how the scene looked to my naked eye. I had to trick my phone into taking that picture without washing it out like the photo on the right, by pointing the phone at the floor and then pressing "capture" as quickly as I could after pointing the camera up.

These batteries from Target are sealed in plastic. Sealed. You need to use a knife and risk them exploding, or use pliers like this to twist the packaging off, and also risk them exploding from the pressure.

It took me almost 2 minutes to get a single battery opened. I hate this country so much

The default iOS Mail app is a deeply unserious app 😶

Probably because it was also instructed to look for Musk's own views on things and regurgitate them

's iOS engineers are the best at doing the bare minimum. Just straight

results.filter { $0.contains(query) }

No query.trimWhitespace, no fuzzy search, no off-by-one typo search…

I need more translucent tech accessories in my life

Love how Apple just… completely broke color pickers

I'm not sure what you mean. This class does not inherit from either of those. It is rendering raw text.

There is no UILabel or UITextView anywhere in the view hierarchy either.

What do I need to do to make it use UILabels and other native components? It doesn't seem to do that out of the box

TikTok shut the hell up

What is documentation, anyway?

This would be the best one handed keyboard if you could make it work like T9 did on dumb phones

🫠 maybe I made the mistake of accidentally opening the app in the US first

I was doing this but I thought I had more time and didn't get around to actually downloading the videos, just the JSON about each video

Chinese version of TikTok climbs the App Store rankings today as the TikTok ban looms ahead this week.

We are that petty.

Lmao thanks? Not even enough to cover a bag of chips on a $60 run

I am going to mail a glitter bomb to whoever had this idea and made it impossible to dismiss forever

Anyone know how to make Xcode perform the actual "Install" associated with the "Installation Directory" of a Framework target?

Made some Settings shortcuts since I visit all of these frequently and they're all extremely tedious to get to with how bad the settings app is now.

The App Notifications one will walk you through choosing a specific app and then opens that app's notification settings

There used to be a private setting to revert the photos app back to how it looked before iOS 18. I hope Apple is seeing all this feedback and makes that setting public. This is worse than the Safari redesign by far.

So this is a cool thing that's finally possible in Swift.

I'm late to the party but I've been waiting to do this since before `any Protocol` was introduced, which is what this requires.

Notice how neither `Colors` and `Marker` conform to Codable 🧐
