I've got a MS Surface runnning KDE + Krita, I'd be keen to see how my setup compares to the stuff on display. I'll pop over to your booth

I like the colours here, they on their way to another planet?
January 25, 2026 at 1:25 PM
Nice one. The colours always look vivid in a photo.
A guy on here said there might have been some down in England, but I haven't seen it
How long did it last for?
January 20, 2026 at 12:58 AM
I'd be on the surface of a 4-dimensional hyper doughnut
I wounder how many calories there are in the Miky Way galaxy?
January 17, 2026 at 2:37 PM
I like the thought of a doughnut shaped universe - sounds tasty.
Does it also have galactic icing sugar?
... Also everyone is at the centre of the universe

Really that's awesome!

Also it hurts if you hit your thumb, an AI will not (at the moment) experience pain.

It's odd though as I actually have some simple AI models running on my PC's graphics card.
They are smart enough to be useful as a tool
January 6, 2026 at 9:12 PM
True.
Untimely no tool can (or should) be accountable for mistakes.
Therefore a human is vital for being the one who will take responsibility for decisions
January 6, 2026 at 6:10 PM
Ughhhh
I really don't know how I feel about AI
January 6, 2026 at 11:09 AM
You fixed them?
December 28, 2025 at 12:50 PM
Above is booting off an SD card and uses zRam
December 25, 2025 at 8:13 PM
Thanks, it does look a bit christmas tree-ish
December 25, 2025 at 6:04 PM
Here is KDE5 running on a cheap ARM ChromeBook.
@mrhooman.bsky.social did you enable some kinda swap?
I had to setup zRam to get it to be useful

Happy birthday!
December 23, 2025 at 10:14 PM
It looks nice, I bought a KDE SlimBook a few years ago, but wasn't happy with it, going to squeeze KDE onto an ARM Chromebook now, but the laptop above looks nice
December 21, 2025 at 3:14 PM
What's the laptop KDE is on?
December 21, 2025 at 3:01 PM
You have this?
December 19, 2025 at 11:02 PM
If he wants to decorate frogs with missiles, then I can only wounder how he would decorate the christmas tree
December 19, 2025 at 8:45 PM
Nice picture
December 14, 2025 at 6:37 PM
Looks like you had some good usage out of them

(I once went to public a lecture by a TV scientist about black holes and relativity - no maths but he gave a nice explanation)

The light you can see around the horizon is light that (only just) had an escape velocity, it can be highly red-shifted though as it lost a lot of energy getting to you.
