So close to buttoning up my first pedal that I designed from PCB to finish.

Simple silicone clean boost that goes great in front of a Rat or Big Muff.

If you're always looking for traitors or enemies, you'll find them.

If you're looking for allies, you'll find them.

It's a question of contagion v. conversion.

Big Altima Energy. Three different wheels, the rear tires were different widths, the "under" in Under Construction was missing, the brake lights were like the car was sending distress signals using Morse code, no bumper cover front or back.

Maybe we just don't have a Toyotathon this year. Just to feel something.

Just look at how clean that PCB etch came out. Guess I'm ordering parts to build a Wooly Mammoth pedal.

Mouser has the worst website. I get that you have eleventy billion items but narrowing it down to what you are actually looking for is needlessly impossible.

Got five boards with 15 pedal PCBs ready for etching. Several weird fuzz pedals, cab sim, filter, etc.

Now the hard part: build the BOMs and place an order for components.

Adventures in pedal building part 2: reprinted and etched the boards I made backwards. Learned I can very easily scrape the print off after etching with a razor blade. Much easier than toner transfer and scrubbing with acetone. I'll drill and cut them after I eat some food.

I've been toying with PCB etching for a bit now and I tried a new method. Instead of using glossy laser transfers I direct printed the copper with a UV printer. And it worked. The ink holds up to the etchant but can be removed with a fingernail.
