I admit, Im pretty hard on AI,but there is one thing I’m considering it for. Upscaling/cleaning up my VHS library of anime/movies whose dvd’s/blu-rays are either non-existent,out of print, or are prohibitively expensive

The thing i remember about playonline is that i saw a sweepstakes for a stuffed Vivi using a keyword from the guide which i hit up the local GameStop to look up then used on the website while hanging in the computer lab the next day. Possibly the only online sweepstakes i ever won.

I don’t care what the “official” story is, I’m certain that Silverhawks was originally an attempt to make an american produced follow up to gatchaman/battle of the planets which was subtly changed when licensing deals and such fell through.

I would absolutely get a Steamdeck immediately IF i could just easily access GOG galaxy on it out of the box without having to putz around with the damn thing(bonus points if when outputting to a tv i could get full use out of my steam controller through it)

@nepitandi.bsky.social finally talked me into watching Yona of the Dawn with her,and the topic of a videogame adaptation came up.Although I initially was of the mind a Tales style RPG would fit best I now find myself convinced a Musou game would be better especially covering the anime chapters

As an older CRPG player I can’t help but feel bummed that the mechanic of having a direct sequel in which you can import your old characters,equipment, and stats fell by the wayside. Throw in some level caps or have a good difficulty scaler.Its not like we are limited by the cartridge format anymore

Wrapped up my favorite new show of the summer anime and got to start what i am already certain will be my favorite for this fall.It bugs me that it seems silent witch hasn’t received enough love to warrant an instant renewal since it absolutely deserves it and has enough material to do more seasons

This game which was a more intense version of a game i had previously played on a friends PC(Alone in the Dark)sold me on this system being the future all others needed to catch up to. What nintendo was showing on the now N64 looked interesting but it still wasn’t as thrilling as this game.

A year went by and id often see stories in mags about the Playstation,but i was more intrigued by the Ultra 64 vs Sega Saturn battle. My older brother even bought a playstation (with Tekken 2 and VR soccer) but it was only a fun distraction to me. Then Resident Evil came out and everything changed

But he insisted it was revolutionary, It used 3d graphics beyond what snes fid with Starfox and Donkey Kong. It could do arcade perfect ports and because of this you’d be able to use the home system memory card and save your arcade progress to take home and continue play(no,that never happened).
